Our Parental Engagement Day was a truly special occasion, designed to give families a window into their children's learning journey this term. The aim was to celebrate progress, particularly in relation to each child’s EHCP targets, and to strengthen the connection between home and school.
Parents had the opportunity to observe and engage in meaningful activities that showcased how their children learn. A highlight of the day was the session in our sensory garden, where families experienced firsthand the rich, sensory-based learning environment we provide. Planting seeds together offered a beautiful, hands-on moment that symbolized growth—both literally and figuratively.
It was heartwarming to see parents working alongside their children, sharing smiles, laughter, and pride. The joy was evident as families joined their children for lunch and witnessed them receiving their end-of-year awards—a proud moment for all.
The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with positivity and connection. Staff, pupils, and parents alike expressed how much they enjoyed the experience. It was a fantastic way to end the year—celebrating achievements, building relationships, and creating lasting memories.
