Parent Engagement Day

At the end of another busy term, we have been thrilled to welcome parents into school for our Parent Engagement Day. It has been a wonderful opportunity to see the pupils perform their Christmas show, singing Christmas songs and carols and signing with Makaton. The pupils also enjoyed performing a Conga line around the pews in the church, it must have been a while since Aylesby Church has seen such a wonderful conga with singing and dancing, surrounded by applause from the supporting parents and visitors.

Today has been a great opportunity for the staff to share the incredible progress our pupils have made and to strengthen the partnership between home and school. Parents joined in classroom activities, explored learning resources, and discussed with staff about how we can continue working together to support every child’s journey.

It was also a great opportunity for us to welcome Ann Marie Matson, Laura Bestwick and Rebecca Nottingham from N E Lincs Local Authority and Shaun from Compass Go to Best Futures. Thank you to those colleagues for taking the time to attend at what we appreciate is a very busy time of the year.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made the day so special!

Final thanks to our amazing staff team, including Jade our wonderful music teacher, who has worked so hard to make today so memorable.

Our Naughty Elf has been Back!

Adding a sprinkle of festive fun, our mischievous school elf has been up to all sorts of antics! From hiding in the kitchen, hallway and library to sticking to staff shirts, the elf has certainly kept us on our toes. The students have loved spotting the elf’s latest hiding place each morning.  It has been a great way to bring joy and excitement into the school day as we counted down to the days to the holidays.

Finally we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We look forward to seeing the pupils return to school on 6th January 2026!
