A heartfelt thank you to Kickstarters: Empowering children through reading and football

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Kickstarters for their incredible football sessions tailored for our pupils here at Best Futures. These sessions have been more than just sport, they’ve been a source of joy, fun, positivity, confidence, and inclusion.  

From the very first kick of the ball, the wonderful team at Kickstarters created a welcoming and supportive environment where every child felt included. Their coaches showed patience, enthusiasm, and genuine care, adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of our pupils. It was inspiring to see our pupils not only develop their football skills but also build friendships, improve communication and co-ordination, and grow in self-esteem. 

The sessions have become a highlight of the week, eagerly anticipated by pupils and staff alike. Whether it was celebrating a goal, learning teamwork, or simply enjoying movement in a safe space, Kickstarters made sure every moment counted and was celebrated. It has also been a joy to be able to use the football pitches at Bradley Football Development Centre, a safe and inclusive space for the pupils to thrive and enjoy.  

Thank you Kickstarters, for your commitment to inclusive sport and for making a real difference in the lives of our young people. Linking the joy of reading with football is a genius concept, one we are proud to have learned with you and thank you for being so adaptive, inclusive and for celebrating the achievements of our pupils with us.
