World Book Day brought a fantastic burst of colour, imagination, and excitement to our school as both children and staff embraced the joy of reading by dressing up as their favourite book characters.
Today, our classrooms were filled with wizards, woodland creatures, superheroes, classic characters, and modern favourites. The creativity was inspiring. Staff members joined in wholeheartedly, showing that a love of reading spans all ages. Dressing up has become one of the most beloved traditions of the day, sparking conversations, inspiring curiosity, and helping children form meaningful connections with stories they adore.
Our school community truly brought the spirit of World Book Day to life. Through costumes, shared stories, and lots of smiles, we celebrated not just characters and books, but the way reading helps us imagine, learn, and grow.
Here’s to many more stories, many more adventures, and many more moments that celebrate the power of a good book.
