We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt thanks to Aura Power for their generous donation towards waterproofs and wellies for our pupils. Their support has made a meaningful difference in our school, ensuring the pupils stay dry and comfortable during the colder months.

As the weather turns, the importance of proper winter clothing becomes more evident. Thanks to Aura Power’s contribution, we’ve been able to provide high-quality waterproof jackets, boots, and other essential gear for our pupils to continue to access the school sensory garden during winter months. This not only helps protect their health and wellbeing but also ensures they can fully participate in outdoor learning.

Outdoor exploration is a vital part of our pupils’ development. Even in winter, being outside supports physical health, emotional wellbeing, and sensory engagement. Our school’s sensory garden offers a rich environment for discovery, creativity and calm, benefits that shouldn’t be limited by the season. With the right gear, children can safely and comfortably explore nature, build resilience, and stay connected to the world around them. Recently we’ve been learning about the seasons, how they change according to the time of year and what that means for people in different countries around the world.
