ISA Minibeast Art Competition Results
We are delighted to celebrate the completion of the ISA Minibeast Art Competition of which Best Futures pupils took part as part of their ‘Field Good Friday’ sessions. All pupils made amazing creations of their chosen minibeast including a variety of butterflies, a woodlouse, a caterpillar and a ladybird! Some of the treetops pupils worked together to create a big caterpillar named Grinch!
A special congratulations goes to one of our Year 5 pupils who won a Highly Commended Award!
It was wonderful to see the pupils’ creativity and caring about attention to detail with their minibeast artwork. The pupils also enjoyed the design and research part of the topic where they found out some truly amazing facts:
“A woodlouse has 14 legs!”
“Spiders use their web to keep their eggs safe”
“A group of ladybirds is called a bloom or a loveliness!”
“There are over 500 species of woodlouse”
“Butterflies eat using their long tongues”
